GRANTS - As part of the 13th Judicial District Court staff and a member of Cibola County Bar Association, Geoff Nims, as a volunteer, coordinates Court of Appeals sessions with high schools across the state. The district includes all of Cibola, Valencia and Sandoval Counties.

Uranium legacy continues, screenings offered
Monday, February 8, 2010 5:50 PM MSTCIBOLA COUNTY - Currently 12 states are designated as high-level risk for radiation exposure. New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada and Utah have established Radiation Exposure Services and Educational clinics. In New Mexico, residents are served by RESEP health centers in Shiprock, Laguna and Albuquerque. A majority of patients are uranium mining industry workers.
