New Mexico State Police

December 17

  • James Robertson, Jr., 41, of Thoreau, was arrested for DWI, no insurance, a lane violation and open container in the vehicle at I-40, mile marker 63.

  • Jereme Delgarito, 31, of Thoreau, was arrested for DWI, no insurance, no license on demand, a suspended/revoked driver’s license, expired registration and concealing identity at New Mexico 412, mm 6.

    December 19

  • Patrick Abeita, 36, of Thoreau, was arrested for DWI and a suspended/revoked driver’s license at NM 122, mm 8.

  • No DWIs were reported by CCSO this week.

    December 17

  • Police arrested Jason J. Riley, 30, of Old Laguna, for aggravated DWI at Santa Fe Avenue and Naomi after Riley was seen turning into a parking lot at a motel and driving onto the curb.

  • Police arrested Pablo Torres, Jr., 24, of Grants, for aggravated DWI at Sakelares Boulevard and Mt. Taylor Avenue.

  • Police arrested Shawn Stevens, 19, of San Fidel, for aggravated DWI at the 600 block of Santa Fe Avenue after he was stopped for driving without headlights.

  • The police department did not report any DWIs this week.

He was arrested again on Dec. 18 for violating his Albuquerque APPO at CCDC.

  • Nadine Vigil, 33, of San Rafael, was arrested for battery on a household member at 515 W. High Street.

  • A caller reported a residential burglary at the 300 block of Davis Avenue. Taken were several DVDs and Christmas presents during the night. No further information was available.

  • An employee from a school at the 1100 block of Mt. Taylor Avenue reported a commercial burglary. No further information was available.

  • A caller from the school at the 500 block of Mountain Road reported a fight occurring there after school involving four youths. Information for a battery report was taken.

  • An employee at the Coyote Del Malpais Golf course called to report damage to the field at the 2000 block of George Hanosh Boulevard. No further information was available.

  • After stopping a vehicle for expired license plates, police arrested driver Isaac Garcia, 20, of Milan, for possession of methamphetime with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a stolen firearm and possession of marijuana less than one ounce, and the passenger, Jeffrey Chavez, 20, of Grants, for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of stolen firearm and possession of drug paraphernalia at Second and High streets.

  • Police arrested Ray Jose, 41, of Grants for shoplifting at a grocery store at the 700 block of E. Roosevelt Road.

  • Police arrested Albert Marquez, 21, of Grants, for battery on a household member at the 1400 block of E. Roosevelt Avenue.

  • Police arrested Michael Medina, of Grants, for possession of a credit card and fraudulent use of a credit card at NM 117 across from the CCDC.

    Milan Police Department

    December 3

  • A caller reported that her boyfriend had come into her home to harass her and broke a coffee table, glass, lamps and vacuum cleaner. The suspect also punched a hole in the hall wall. She told the officer that man was drinking. The woman was advised to get a protection order against the man and information for a report was taken.

    December 6

  • A woman came to the police station to report her husband had left home on Nov. 27, 2005, and had not returned. She said he did this before because of his drug addiction and she was concerned about him. He had taken a 1996 silver Dodge pickup. His information was entered into the National Crime Information Center as a missing person and the vehicle reported as stolen.

    December 7

  • Police arrested Chris P. Baca, 18, of Milan, for a municipal warrant at the 300 block of Archer.

    December 8

  • A caller reported criminal damager to his vehicle, which included scraping of paint from it. Information for a report was taken and the scene was processed for shoe and tire prints.

  • A caller reported criminal damages to his vehicle while at the Milan Elementary School children’s Christmas play. A rock was found in the road and it appeared a footprint showed someone had tried to kick in the window, which was shattered. Information for a report was taken.

    December 9

  • Police arrested Tommy Martinez, 48, of Milan, for a Santa Fe County warrant at a retail store at E. Santa Fe Avenue.

    December 15

  • A man came to the police station to report a larceny, criminal damage to property and criminal trespassing at the 200 block of Aspen Street. Someone had cut the lock to his fence, entered the yard, cut the chain that secured a cement mixer to a pole and took the mixer. The theft occurred between Dec. 13 and Dec. 15. Information for a report was taken.

  • Police arrested Lloyd Sena, 29, of Milan, for battery against a household member at the 500 block of Russell Street.

    December 20

  • Police arrested Jesse Deherrera, 24, of Milan, for a bench warrant at E. Santa Fe Avenue.

    December 19

  • A caller reported a larceny and burglary from a vehicle parked at a truck stop at the 1400 block of Motel Drive. Taken were a cell phone valued at $350, clothes and a shaving kit. Information for a report was taken.

    December 20

  • An employee from a truck stop at the 1400 block of Motel Drive reported a gas skip of $486.64 of 199.523 gallons of diesel fuel. The officer tried to locate the vehicle with the fuel that left the scene and was unable to make contact. Information for a report was taken.

    Grants Fire and Rescue

    Between Dec. 13 and Dec. 21, the Grants Fire and Rescue reported four medical assist/assist EMS crew; four aircraft standby; one EMS call, excluding vehicle accident with injury and one vehicle accident without injuries.

  • The district continues to thin urban interface wild lands.

    Blotter Clarification

    The person named Charles Marez, age 53, who was indicted by a grand jury with two counts of abuse of a child on November 18, 2005, is a resident of Pine Hill, N.M., not Grants. Court paperwork does not usually reflect the hometowns of defendants who are currently incarcerated; other circumstances may also prevent the public from immediately learning suspects’ ages or addresses (such as persons who conceal their identity from police).
