California train bandits wanted Staff ReportCIBOLA COUNTY - Five California men sought on burglary charges could possibly be seen in this part of the state, according to the Cibola County Sheriff's Office. Four of them have been convicted of crimes against Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway, including burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary and possession of stolen property. According to a report, the men target high value electronic shipments on trains between Barstow, Calif., and Belen. The suspects have been known to use rental and boxed-type trucks to transport the stolen goods back to Los Angeles. They shadow victim trains along I-40 in large SUV vehicles and/or minivans.
