Graveside services for Owen M. Russell. JD., 69, of Grants, will be held on March 13, 2009, at 1 p.m. at the Ramah Community Cemetery. Visitation was held on March 12, 2009, from 1-7 p.m. at Compassion Mortuary.

Russell was born on April 7, 1939, in Raton, and passed away on March 9, 2009, in Grants. He was an attorney in Grants.

He is survived by his companion: Deanna Reber of Grants; sons: Leslie Russell and Neil Russell both of Colorado; brothers: Randy Russell and John Russell, both of Ruidoso and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Oliver Marion Russell and Elma Owen Russell.

Pallbearers will be: John Dan Yates, Leslie Russell, Neil Russell, Michael Maxey, John Russell and Richard Mace.

Compassion Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
