Volunteer Week

Dear Editor:

Good Samaritan Society-Grants would like to recognize the dedication and faithfulness of each of our volunteers during National Volunteer Appreciation Week, April 19-25. We would like to thank each one for their enthusiasm and willingness to share Christ's love and joy to our residents. We would like to recognize Rev. Helen Lortz, the ladies and Fathers from St. Teresa Catholic Church, members of the Emmanuel Baptist Church and members of Ramah Nazarene Church and "Church of Christ."

God has blessed us with so many volunteers that it is difficult to mention them all, but we would like to acknowledge other volunteers in our community that so unselfishly give of their time and efforts on a weekly basis to our residents. Thank you, Lupe Hinojas, and Frank Hilliard.

Joe and Darqios from “JHM Gym” for your generous donation of appropriate gym equipment to start a fitness program for our residents. With great appreciation we would like to thank Sandra O'Neal for teaching the fitness class. To Marty Geoffrey and Perry Dyea for their weekty devotional, to community clubs, and the group of carolers that remember our residents during the Christmas Season. If we have forgotten any volunteer please except our apology. We appreciate each and every one of you. "In Christ's Love, Everyone Is Someone,"

Marilyn Marks,

Activities Director

Mona Gutierrez,

Resource Development Coordinator
