Roger Milhomme

Roger Milhomme


Memorial Services for Roger Milhomme, 58, of San Rafael, will be held on April 17, 2009, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Mission, Laguna. Burial with full military honors will take place at a later date in Connecticut.

He was born on October 22, 1950, in Willimantic, Conn., and passed away on March 29, 2009, at his home in San Rafael.

He was one of 10 children born to Lorraine Vargas Milhomme and Gerald Milhomme. He attended Parish Hill High School and then enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corp, serving during the Vietnam War. He was injured and received a Purple Heart while serving in Vietnam. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife: Sharon Milhomme of San Rafael; sons: Roger Milhomme, Jr., and wife Tadria of Chaplin, Conn. and Ryan Duchaineau-Milhomme of San Rafael; grandson: Dylan Milhomme; stepchildren: DJ, Jeff, Elizabeth and Taryn Duchaineau; brothers: Eddie Milhomme and Richard Milhomme, both of Connecticut and Bobby Milhomme of Minnesota; sisters: Julie Scott and Nancy Kempes, both of Connecticut.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Gerald Milhomme and Lorranine Vargas Milhomme; brothers: Jerry Millhome and Jimmy Milhomme; sisters: Diane and Linda and his first wife: Peggy Milhomme.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in his name may be sent to: Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary, HC61 Box 28, Ramah, New Mexico 87321

Compassion Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
