Eyes closed and swing...

Published Thursday, June 25, 2009 4:09 PM MDT

The Orioles came back to win their final regular season against the Marlins. Can they win again to move on in the winners bracket? Coach thinks they can with the help of sluggers such as Brandon Furbee as he connects with the ball on June 23. The city tournaments began for the Pee Wee Reese League this week and will carry into the weekend at the Wells Park fields. See Sports for full story. BEACON / MARK TESHIMA

I appreciate Mike and Bonnie for doing such a wonderful job with Brandon. Congratulations to Brandon's team for their 2nd place finish in the State tourney. Just wait until next year!Love from Honolulu, Grandma Jo "

" Brandon Furbee is my grandson. I know his Father Mike Furbee has done an excellent job working with his son to perform well in the sports arena. His Mother Bonnie loves, supports and encourages him to be the best he can be. Good job Mike and Bonnie.
