Ceremonies honor uranium workers

    The first ever National Day of Remembrance will take place on Friday, Oct. 30, at the Cibola County Complex.

he nationwide event, enacted by Congress, is to honor former uranium and nuclear workers.

The ceremony will begin at 1:30 p.m. with special commemorations and speakers. Governor Bill Richardson has been invited to attend.

    Following the event, a reception will take place at Professional Case Management, 210 E. Santa Fe Ave., Suite A.
