Agency seeks relatives of shooting victim

    CIBOLA COUNTY - Cibola County Sheriff's Office has been unable to contact the next of kin of Wayne Johnson, 74, of San Rafael. It is believed that he has two daughters, one residing in Alamogordo and the other in northern California. Johnson was killed on Oct. 23 during a shooting at his home.

Danny Stanfield is being charged with the murder of Johnson and Sony Jim. He is expected to be indicted by a grand jury next Friday, Nov. 6.

    Johnson's home is on Thomas Road, nearly two miles south of San Rafael.

Stanfield is claiming self-defense, according to reports.
