Creative Kids Workshop

Creative students were recognized at the recent school board meeting. A Creative Kids Workshop contest was held for Mesa View and Mount Taylor Elementary School higher-level students and was sponsored by the Cibola Beacon along with many local businesses. The contest has two categories, writing and art design. First, second and third place in the writing category were Angela Henkel, Ryan Lopez and Kami Bratzel. First, second and third place in ad design were Kami Bratzel, Anatacio Woodman and Ryan Lopez. Honorable mentions were Paris Corley, Joshua Ruff, Athena Nelson, Carlene Martinez, Richie Lucero, Victoria Valdo, Andrew Ortiz, Annelyce Hicks, Alejandro Galindo, Tylan Garcia, Keaton Duncan, Verlonda Yazzie, Leroy Martinez, Daniel Ramirez, Maria Grijalva, Kara Murrietta, Esperanza Madrid, Alexis Leist, Brandon Will, Jonathon Cruz, Danielle Rael, Lulia Victorino, Brandon Butler, Leroy Martinez, Fernando Desiderio and Joann Valdez.
