Jesus Roman

      Funeral Mass for Jesus Roman, 67, of Milan, was held on Monday, Jan. 11, 2010, at 10 a.m. at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. The Very Rev. Alberto Avella was the celebrant. Burial followed at the Grants Memorial Park. A rosary was recited on Sunday, Jan. 10, 2010, at 7 p.m. at the church.



Jesus was born on Aug. 12, 1942, in Chapala, Jalisco, Mexico, and passed away on Jan. 7, 2010, in Milan.

    He is survived by his wife: Amalia Roman of Milan; children: Helario Roman and wife Jessica of Granby, Colo., Alberto Roman and wife Anna of Minnesota, Mary Saavedera and husband Clarence of Seboyeta, Jose Sandoval and partner Beatrice Cruz of Grants, Efrin Sandoval and wife Brenda of Lubbock, Texas, Erika Sandoval and partner Jose Parra of Lubbock, Texas, Azucena Sandoval and partner Olegardio Biorato of Greeley, Colo., Jesus Sandoval of Milan and Raquel Holgin of Milan and 26 grandchildren.

    He was preceded in death by his parents: Hilario Roman and Luiza Perez Roman,

Pallbearers will be: Hilaro Roman, Alberto Roman, Jesus Sandoval, Jose Parra, Clarence Saavedera and Efrin Sandoval.

    Compassion Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
