Morgan is gathering information for what he hopes will become a book about the early days of uranium prospecting and development by individuals and small companies. He has created a Facebook page as a way of contacting people. It is found at If you or your family was involved in those early days and would like to share your story, leave Morgan a note on the Facebook page. He will get back to you.

When the photo was taken in 1956, Morgan was ten-years-old and lived in Oklahoma City, Okla. His father, also named Harold Morgan, worked for Kerr McGee.
