GRANTS - Grants High School recently held its Honor Awards Night  and the following list of awards was turned in by the school. They are:



• Honor Boy Cesar Sorea and Honor Girl Desiree Baca

• NM State ACT Scholar (ACT score of 26 and above plus GPA of 3.5) - Jordan R. Levy, Cesar Soria, Jeffrey M. Trujillo and Pablo A. Valdivia

A total of $53,300 was awarded in local scholarships and $641,388 was awarded in University Scholarships for a grand total of $694,688.

The Grants High School counseling department closed the award event by thanking the parents, friends, family, teachers, businesses, organizations and universities for making contributions and giving encouragement which promote the students' education. The motto of the evening was 'the secret of success is constancy to purpose,” by Benjamin Disraeli.
